Life
As a nation, we have an obligation to protect innocent life from the moment of conception until natural death. Abortion has killed more than 40 million unborn children since the tragic Roe v. Wade decision. We support a Human Life Amendment to the
Constitution to and will fight to defend the right to life for all the unborn.

Marriage
Marriage is the sacred union of one man and one woman. The institution of marriage is currently under assault from a left-wing activist judiciary as divorce rates and out-of-wedlock births continue to climb.  Let's work to preserve and defend the American family by passing a Marriage Amendment to the Constitution.

Tax Reform
The federal tax code is an incomprehensible mess and should be taken behind the barn and killed with a dull axe. We push for lower taxes and the elimination of wasteful government spending. We also favor an optional low-rate flat tax as a simple, pro-growth alternative to the current tax code.

Social Security Reform
Social Security has been a good deal for many older Americans, but it is destined to fail younger generations unless we reform it. By permitting younger Americans the option of large personal investment accounts, Social Security can maintain its promise for all.

Iraq and Afghanistan
The stakes in the war against the Islamist terrorists are high and we must provide our military the support and resources it needs to defeat our enemies in Iraq and Afghanistan.
In Iraq, General Petraeus' counter-insurgency strategy is working, and now is the time for Iraqis to seize the initiative and adopt a federal system of government.

Human Rights
Every life has inherent dignity and is worth fighting for. In places like the Sudan, North Korea, the Congo, we must act to relieve human suffering and restore justice for the downtrodden and repressed.

Border Security
Any reform of our broken immigration system must begin by securing the borders; the key is to end illegal immigration and instead promote legal, orderly immigration. We can have a no-amnesty immigration policy that is compassionate and meets the needs of our growing economy.
